Wildlife Experience Packages

Join us for a Wildlife Experience of a lifetime.
This is a field guide study program in Natal with an emphasis on wildlife conservation

• One will experience the world of conservation in Southern Africa Natal
• You will meet and interact with conservationists and wildlife rangers
• You will gain experience through hands on operations

The package includes the following :

Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival
All students arrive at La Mercy King Shaka Airport Durban , met by the Heritage Tours Staff member. You are transferred to the Guesthouse close to the Ezemvello Kzn Wildlife headquarters. The rest of the day is spent at Ushaka Marine world & meet with staff . Welcoming dinner where the staff members will discuss the itinerary. Guesthouse accommodation

Day 2 Orientation, St Lucia
Upon arrival at South Africa’s first world heritage site St Lucia we start with a workshop Croc centre, we meet with staff from the centre, learn about the running and management of the centre. After lunch go on a Hippo & croc cruise on the St Lucia Estuary and see firsthand crocs & Hippos in the wild. The evening is spent being entertained by Zulu dancers, bonfire and traditional barbecue. Day 3 Hluhluwe / Imfolozi
We depart for the world acclaimed Hluhluwe / Imfolozi game reserve after breakfast , you will meet with Ezemvello staff as well as Endangered Wildlife Trust staff , go tracking wild dog learn about this endangered animal , the afternoon is spent in search of the big 5 in open game drive vehicles.

Day 4 Hluhluwe / Imfolozi
We go on a guided walk from Mpilla with rangers from Ezemvello as well as the Heritage Rangers. The afternoon is spent with the local community that borders the park and conservation awareness is discussed . The evening we go on a night drive in search of the nocturnal animals.

Day 5 Community awareness program Traditional Zulu Bee hives Khula Village
Meet with traditional Zulu Chief , meet traditional healers and we go to a traditional Zulu village , you will also meet children from a crèche and be entertained by the folk songs.

Day 6 Cape Vidal
We depart from Khula Village for Cape Vidal discover the rich biodiversity that this first South African world heritage site has to offer. The day is spent game viewing , guided walk and time spent on the beach , snorkelling included.

Day 7 Depart for the Airport
After breakfast on the beach we depart for the Durban international airport.

The package includes all transfers to and from the airports. Safaris ,
walks , camping equipment , all meals , refreshments & accommodation
